Booking a free consultation
- The offer of a free consultation made available through the Website is available to individuals and entities who are not existing clients of ALH. If you are an existing client of ALH, you may book a meeting via the online booking system on the Website and you will be given notice of the legal fees associated with the proposed meeting. Those fees must be paid before proceeding to attend the proposed meeting.
- You acknowledge and agree that the booking of, and attendance at, the free consultation does not create a solicitor-client relationship. The consultation is to assess whether or not you will become a client of ALH. If we agree that we will become your legal representatives, and if you wish to retain ALH to act for you and/or provide advice to you, then we will provide you with a Costs Agreement in accordance with the Legal Profession Act 2007 (Qld) setting out the terms on which we will act for you.

Purchase of documents and courses
- All amounts shown on the website are in Australian Currency and are GST exclusive unless otherwise stated. If GST is payable on a Taxable Supply (as defined in A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999 (Cth)) , the amount payable for that Taxable Supply will be the amount expressed on the website as “including GST”.
- The fees applicable to any template or online course are to be paid by credit or debit card prior to you accessing the template or online course, unless otherwise agreed in writing with ALH. By providing your credit or debit card details through or on our Website (or member portal), you agree to us charging your credit or debit card in the amount applicable to the purchase from the Website.
- We use Stripe Payments Australia Pty Ltd ACN 160 180 343 (Stripe) to take credit payments and/or debit funds from your account through the Bulk Electronic Clearing System (BECS) on our behalf. You acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible in any way for any matter related to the payment of money between you and Stripe.
- In purchasing the template (or templates) you are granted an irrevocable non-exclusive non-transferrable licence to use the template solely for your business. You must not transfer or assign (or attempt to transfer or assign) the template documents to any person without first obtaining the written consent of ALH (which may be withheld in our absolute discretion).
- The document may be accessed and amended up to 6 times after which access is terminated to the template and you will be required to purchase a further copy of the template. We may refuse to provide you with any template if we consider you have used the template in breach of these Terms.
- You are responsible for inserting data specific to your business in the template(s) using the online chat bot (where this applies) or directly yourself using the word document sent to you by ALH. In either case, you agree that you are solely responsible for the accuracy of that information and shall have no claim against ALH whatsoever for loss or damage of any kind arising from your use of the templates, including the information you insert into the document (for full information on the releases and indemnities you are giving, see above under the heading “Disclaimer”).
- If you require the template document you have purchased to be amended to specifically apply to you and/or your business, then we recommend you engage legal representation to assist you with this. If you wish ALH to assist you in that regard, then you can make a booking via the online booking mechanism on the Website to discuss your specific needs. A quote will be provided to you at that time and, if you accept the quote, that work will constitute a legal service and subject to the Legal Profession Act 2007 (Qld).
Laws applying to these terms
ALH is a company registered in Queensland, Australia accordingly by accessing and using this Website, you irrevocably agree to the application of Queensland and Australian Federal laws
General
- Any waiver of any of these Terms is only valid if it is given in writing and validly signed by ALH.
